“Save the Children” in the Lead! (237 days to go)

Once I chose my four charities, I decided to leave the voting up to the public. I sent an email to each of the four charities to let them know what I was doing. It then up to them to help spread the word.

A special thanks to Lucy from “Save the Children” and Jade from “Child Cancer Foundation” who have both taken it upon themselves to get as many votes for their respective charities as possible.

Currently “Save the Children” are miles ahead with 67% of the total votes - great effort guys! Remember - YOU STILL HAVE TIIME TO VOTE: 17 days in fact - so get voting!

  • Remember, the winning charity will receive all the funds we can raise for this event
  • Thanks again for your support!! :-)

Wow, you are doing such a great job! We belong to the Child Cancer Foundation and my little girl is getting treatment for Leukemia and so their support is so valuable to us!

  2. Vikki Coombes Says:

All the best with the fund raising as well as the preparation for the activity itself - you are an inspiration to those around you. I voted CCF as the support they have given my sister and her family over the last 2 years has been immeasurable. Vikki

My grandson, Peter Pirie is a child with DS and also at the age of three, contracted ALL leukaemia. It would be wonderful if your donation went to the Child Cancer Foundation - that organisation does so much good for so many children, not to mention how much the parents of these children also benefit.

  4. Bev Graham Says:

My friend Patrina Yeatts, her grandson Pete Pirie is a child with DS and I read his caring bridge it’s so wonderful to read the progress that he is making. His Mom and Dad were chosen to be given this special child. Now we as friends need to help support Mom and Dad and Little Pete’s brother. No matter how far we are we can some how support them even if it’s just helping them stay POSTIVE with all they have to do.

    Love Bev Graham

We would love this wonderful donation to be given to the Child Cancer Foundation - they were amazing when our daughter, Brianna, who was born with Down Syndrome, was diagnosed with AML Leukaemia at 17 months old. The support was incredible and much needed to help us get through this trying time. Brianna is now 6 years old and full of life! Good luck to all of the charities mentioned, but especially Child Cancer. Thank you again for being there for us in our time of need.
