Business Idea Update (327 days to go)
Over the past week I have been working with a group of people to ensure that my idea meets any legal requirements. As I don’t want to invest too heavily in something that can fall over down the track.
There are so many things to consider when starting a business:
- Who will I work with?
- How much time will I put into this business on a regular basis?
- What functions will I perform to make this business work?
- Which other people/organisations do I need to make my business a success?
- How much capital do I need to fund this idea?
- How will I raise this capital?
Some other good ideas include drawing up a 12 month profit and loss statement, and a proposal to any potential investors. Obviously if you can afford to not go down this track then that may be more beneficial for you.
We are just in the process of securing the domain name. Once we have that I should be able to give you that information at least. The website will take a little while to build, however as time is of the essence we hope to have it up in a couple of months.
As time progresses I will be able to reveal more and more about this business and how it will benefit all those who are involved. A big part of the plan is that we are going to work with one or two chosen charitable organisations in order to promote our business as well as give back to these organisations.
We are still in the process of deciding which causes we would like to support however I think that as long as it is something that we really believe in, then our business will fly!
