What is your Passion? (351 days to go)
Last night was a good night for me. I came to the realisation that passion is the key ingredient in being successful. There could be hundreds of different business ideas out there, some of them may work, some of the will fail. I believe that if you are passionate about something then you will succeed in what you are focusing on. If you are doing something simply for the sake of making some money, then it might work for a while, however, without passion it is sure to, one day, shrivel up and die.
I was talking to a friend last night, and we both really have a passion for music. Sure, we play musical instruments, however something about music touches me even deeper. I don’t think I can put it into words, but I know music will always be there. I love listening to music, all different genres. It’s a like a drug. I feel addicted to it, and some days if I don’t have my fix I get withdrawals.
Now what does this have to do with making a million dollars? I don’t actually know yet. What I do know is that if I do something with music, I believe I will be more passionate about what I do, and therefore more successful in achieving my goal. Food for thought.
